Carmilla Sumantry is an interdisciplinary artist and designer based in Vancouver, Canada. Working with interactive and immersive digital media, she explores the impact of modern technology on society across social, psychological, and spiritual dimensions. Her surreal environments function as alternate realities; spaces to imagine new perspectives and different ways of being. Her work has been showcased internationally, including at CYENS (Cyprus), Wonderfruit (Thailand), and Superchief Gallery (New York).

Alongside her artistic practice, Carmilla applies the innovation of new media to commercial projects, collaborating with clients such as Starbucks, Crown Royal, and Destination BC to craft brand visuals, experiential campaigns, and immersive activations. As Co-Founder of Chroma Link Collective, she leverages emerging creative technologies to foster connection, deliver impactful experiences, and bridge the worlds of art and commercial storytelling.
