Carmilla Sumantry is a new media artist and experiential designer based between Vancouver, Canada and Bali, Indonesia. She produces interactive and immersive environments as gateways to healing and connection. Often imbued with themes of mysticism, speculation, and wellness, these spaces function as alternate realities in which to imagine new perspectives and different ways of being.
Her artwork has been showcased internationally, including at CYENS (Cyprus), Wonderfruit (Thailand), and Superchief Gallery (New York). Commercially, Carmilla has collaborated with clients such as Starbucks, Crown Royal, and Destination BC, crafting impactful activations that connect brands and audiences through shared experiences.
